Compass generates coaching summaries for every evaluated interaction, giving managers ready-to-use insights for one-on-ones and team development.
What's in a Coaching Summary¶
- One-liner — a quick take on the interaction
- Context — what the interaction was about
- Strengths — what the agent did well, with specific quotes from the conversation
- Improvements — where the agent could improve, with specific examples
- Organizational insights — patterns relevant to the broader team or process
Using Coaching Summaries¶
Coaching summaries are designed to be used directly in supervisor-agent conversations. The specific quotes ground feedback in observable behavior rather than subjective opinions.
Tip
Focus on 1-2 improvements per coaching session. Agents respond better to targeted feedback than a long list of issues.
