Score Calibration & Trust¶
Trust Levels¶
Each Compass Score includes a trust indicator that reflects the system's confidence in the evaluation:
- High trust — strong evidence supports the score, clear interaction with sufficient data
- Medium trust — reasonable evidence, but some ambiguity in the interaction
- Low trust — limited evidence available (short interactions, poor audio quality, etc.)
What Affects Trust¶
- Interaction length and substance
- Audio or transcript quality
- Availability of contextual information
- Number of detectable behavioral signals
Using Trust in Your Workflow¶
Trust levels help you prioritize review time. Focus manual QA on low-trust interactions where automated evaluation had limited data, and rely on high-trust scores for the bulk of your coaching.
