Score Calibration & Trust

Trust Levels

Each Compass Score includes a trust indicator that reflects the system's confidence in the evaluation:

  • High trust — strong evidence supports the score, clear interaction with sufficient data
  • Medium trust — reasonable evidence, but some ambiguity in the interaction
  • Low trust — limited evidence available (short interactions, poor audio quality, etc.)

What Affects Trust

  • Interaction length and substance
  • Audio or transcript quality
  • Availability of contextual information
  • Number of detectable behavioral signals

Using Trust in Your Workflow

Trust levels help you prioritize review time. Focus manual QA on low-trust interactions where automated evaluation had limited data, and rely on high-trust scores for the bulk of your coaching.
